Recreational Division
set your child up for success
This is where the love and passion for dance begins. We offer a variety of dance programs that are both interactive and educational. Students will have the option to continue in this division until they graduate, or can apply at any time to transition over to the Company Division. In this fun and safe environment, students master a comprehensive range of dance principles, while learning the discipline, creativity and interpersonal skills that foster enduring success.
General Recreational Levels
BDC uses a placement system for all classes. The ages provided for each level are guidelines for students upon registration. Advancing from one level to the next typically takes two to three years, and requires students to be assessed to ensure they are placed in the proper classes. Families will be notified if another class or level is more suitable for their child. At the end of the dance year, BDC hosts a professional production called “Magical Moments” to showcase the dancers.
