the bdc mission
The Barrie Dance Conservatory (BDC) was established in 2003, with the goal of offering a superior performing arts education to the community of Simcoe County. At BDC, we strive to be a leader in dance education and set out to create a memorable experience for every student, at every level.
We take great pride in our prestigious team of certified dance professionals. Each member is highly experienced to lead, train and educate students, while creating a safe and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed.

BDC has an exceptional front foyer where our staff members are always available and parents can have a seat. Our four studios are fully equipped with barres, specialized dance flooring, as well as sound and video equipment. With a dancer’s lounge upstairs, there’s plenty of space for homework, group hangouts and some rest and relaxation.
