Petite Performers

A specialized program for children ages 3 to 4, where they will discover a passion for dance and movement. Students will be introduced to Ballet and Jazz techniques and terminology through the use of storytelling, music and nursery rhymes, props and imagination.


Ballet

A classical form of dance that provides a strong technical foundation, Ballet is enjoyed by students for its grace, flow of movement and precision. The curriculum is based on the methods and training of the Cecchetti syllabus and the Royal Academy of Dance.


Hip-Hop

Students will learn a variety of steps that combine streetstyle and freestyle technique. This class also teaches students the proper terminology and history of these movements, with an age appropriate playlist to follow.


Tap

Through traditional Tap steps and progressions of contemporary tap technique, students will strengthen their sense of rhythm, musicality and overall dance training. Our Tap curriculum is based on the technique and standards set by the ADAPT syllabus, along with The Tap Dance Centre.


Contemporary

A movement-based style of dance, Contemporary focuses on musicality, creativity and interpretation. Students participating in this class must have a solid understanding of their basic dance technique.


lyrical

This dance style blends a combination of techniques and elements that stem from Ballet and Jazz training. Its fluid and soft execution allows for emotion and interpretation of the lyrics with graceful, free-flowing choreography.


Jazz

Jazz provides a strong foundation and structure to a student’s overall dance education. Younger students will learn the fundamental root movements of this discipline, and will be challenged in a fun, energetic environment. Older students will be given the opportunity to take their strong technique and learn to incorporate style and quality into their movement. Our Jazz curriculum is based on the technique and standards set by the ADAPT syllabus.


Acro

This class fuses dance and sport in movements that combine control, balance, timing, flexibility and artistry, with intricate gymnastic techniques such as cartwheels, handstands and backbends. Acro students will be trained using techniques and curriculum established by the Acrobatic Arts and Acro Dance Teachers Association.
