Ms. Grace started as a competitive dancer at BDC in 2014 training in Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz and Tap. She later added Lyrical and Contemporary to her training. Grace loves competing with her team and has won many awards including her, This Is It Achievement Award, which she received for her Jazz solo in 2017. Grace is currently a highschool student at Bear Creek Secondary School and has completed her Grade 9 and Grade 10 dance courses. Next year she will be joining Bear Creek’s Specialist High Skills Major program in the Arts and Culture division to further her dance education. Grace developed an interest in teaching dance over the course of her two and a half years as an assistant teacher with BDC. In June 2020 she attained her ADAPT Assistant Teacher certification and became a junior level teacher at BDC under the mentorship of Miss. Bradley in December. Grace loves teaching and hopes to continue her training by becoming PBT certified as well as completing ADAPT’s Teacher Training program.
